Michelle Davis is our Director of Operations. Michelle attended Central Michigan University majoring in Communications, Television Production and Speech with a minor in Marketing and Business Education. She also has a master’s degree in educational leadership from Eastern Michigan University. Upon graduation Michelle worked in the advertising industry before transitioning to her first teaching position. She has served in the education department for the past 32 years. For the last seven years she has served in an administrative role as an Assistant Principal and Athletic Director. In her administrative role she was responsible for overseeing and operating an athletic department with thirty-four different sports, fifty-four total teams, and over 130 staff members and coaches. Michelle was fiscally responsible for the athletic budget, hiring and evaluating staff, daily operations of the department, implementing innovative programs and initiatives, and oversight for the facility. Michelle was also responsible for creating and implementing professional development and evaluations for staff, and the daily management of the building.

Michelle is passionate about lifelong learning and believes we grow as individuals and as an organization when we are reflective and committed to learning. She believes relationships are the foundation of any organization and values diverse opinions and ideas. She enjoys traveling with her family and cuddling with her Norfolk Terrier “Higgins.”
